Rory Skinner will miss the upcoming German and Dutch Grands Prix, held over the next two weekends in Sachsenring and TT Circuit Assen as a result of the injuries which saw him withdraw from last weekend’s Italian Grand Prix in Mugello. Subsequent scans in Italy have revealed a fracture to the talus bone in his right foot, and the 21-year-old class rookie will sit out the next two races with a view to returning at his home race, the British Grand Prix, which is held at Silverstone on the weekend of 4-6 August.

“I’m obviously gutted to be missing the next two rounds but unfortunately, it’s out of my control,” said Rory. “I’m taking all the right steps, moving forward, and I’ll be seen by a specialist on Wednesday once I’m home so hopefully, I’ll be back on the right route and on the road to recovery.”
